Yes. This is usually door alignment or a failing multipoint mechanism. We’ll align the door properly, which often means removing the glass or door panel to adjust it correctly. Most locksmiths or fitters aren’t trained in this process, so the door gets “tweaked” and the same failure keeps coming back.

Can you repair a uPVC door that's dropped or won't shut properly?

Yes — door alignment and mechanism repairs are some of our most common jobs. If your uPVC door won't lock, the handle's floppy, or the door has dropped and won't align with the frame, we can realign it and replace worn mechanisms without needing a new door.

Yes. We extract snapped and broken keys from cylinders and locks regularly, usually without damaging the lock. If the cylinder is beyond salvage we'll replace it on the spot. Don't force it or superglue the key — call us first.

Can you cut a new key if I've lost mine?

Yes. We can cut replacement keys from the lock itself using non-destructive techniques, or from a key code where available. For vehicle keys we use laser cutting and programming — spare keys, full replacements and immobiliser syncing across Lincolnshire.
