The GOAT Open
Annual Snooker Competition.

The GOAT open is a joint sponsorship between Spec & Fix Locking Solutions and the citys most prestigious snooker hall - Lincoln Snooker Club.

​

The tournament was created in memory of Darren Munnelly (our owners, father).

 

A large proportion of the entry money and all of the raffle takings is kindly donated to 'The Darren Munnelly Memorial Fund'. To learn more, click here.

The format is a straight, handicapped, knockout and is open to players of all standards - of which you do not need to be a member of LSC for this special day in the calendar season.

2023 - GOAT Open.

"This is our second year of many, hosting "The GOAT Open", and like last year, it was a great success. This campaign seen 30 entries which was an amazing turnout.

 

Stu Cannings was able to retain his title, edging out close runner up, Mick Challen. 

​

Aside snooker, the day is about remembering a great friend and celebrating the day for what it is, whilst raising money towards Darren's charity. This year we managed to raise a staggering £650.

 

Between Lincoln Snooker Club and Spec & Fix, we have created a tournement for all levels of players to compete and have fun. Whether you are a seasoned professional or just a beginner, "The Goat Open" is the perfect place to show off your skills and have a good, relaxed time. Join us next year for an unforgettable experience."

2022 - GOAT Open.

"A great day was had by all at the Goat Open on Saturday.

 

We raised an amazing £640 on the day which has been split between the two causes.

 

Stu Cannings won the main event beating Connor Manning 2-0 in the final.

 

Lee Morris took the plate prize and Lee Woolfit won the highest break handicapped with an 18 plus his handicap of 42.
